Shop | Objects Made Through Research and Practice

Objects made slowly, by hand, and in dialogue with research.

This small collection brings together brushes, beeswax candles, and crafted tools shaped through my wider practice in material culture and studio production. Each piece is produced in limited quantities using reclaimed wood, natural fibres, and organic waxes; designed to hold presence, purpose, and a sense of quiet utility.

 Values

  • Each object is made from materials selected for their environmental integrity, durability, and sensory richness. Reclaimed oak, organic beeswax, hemp wicks, and Arena Fibre bristles are chosen for their histories and material narratives they carry

  • Making takes place slowly by hand, privileging physical knowledge and direct engagement with tools and texture. The studio process is a form of research, where each object documents the gestures and adjustments that shaped it.

  • Objects are designed with a function, not preserved and untouched. Brushes are intended for the rhythms of studio work, candles for the quiet rituals of domestic and or creative life. Their purpose is to support practice of making, thinking, and inhabiting space.

  • Each line is deliberately small. Variation is not flaw but a marker of process, material difference, and the individuality of reclaimed wood and materiality.
